1. Do you accept insurance?

2. Is therapy covered by my insurance?

The best way to see if therapy is covered by insurance is to check with your plan. The phone number is typically located on the back of your health insurance card.

Some questions to ask include:

  • Do I have behavioral health benefits?
  • Do I need an authorization?
  • How many sessions can I assess each year?
  • Do I have a deductible?
  • What is my co-pay?
  • Do I have out-of-network benefits?  (This clarifies whether or not you can seek therapy from any clinician you choose.)

 

3.  How long will the therapy process take?

The length of treatment depends on your goals and progress.

 

4.  Do you accept credit cards?

No.  Payment and co-payment for services are to be paid by check or cash at the time of the visit.
